Pricing and Content

While International American University (IAU) strives to keep the information on its website current and accurate, occasional typographical errors or inaccuracies may occur, rendering the information incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Such errors, inaccuracies, or omissions may relate to product descriptions, pricing, and/or availability. Therefore, we reserve the right to:

Correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at our discretion;
Change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order);
Refuse or cancel orders placed for products listed at an incorrect price, whether or not the order has been confirmed and your payment processed. If a payment has been processed, a credit will be issued;
Charge sales tax on orders shipped within and outside applicable jurisdictions as required by law;
Allow International Customs to charge the recipient duties and taxes upon delivery.

Promotional Pricing

Promotional discounts applied at the time of original purchase are only valid for applicable stock on hand at the time of order fulfillment and cannot be applied to new orders or substitutions made after a promotion has expired. Unless specified, free shipping offers exclude textbooks, technology items, graduation resources, diploma frames, and only apply to delivery within the contiguous USA, using standard ground transit. Additional handling charges may apply.

Taxable Out-of-State Orders

In compliance with state laws, taxes may be charged on orders shipped outside of our state. Amounts due may not appear when the order is placed but will be calculated and charged at the time of shipment.

Product Images

While we strive to accurately display product colors, actual colors may vary depending on your monitor or mobile device settings.

Product Availability

The ability to order an item online does not guarantee that the item will ship. IAU may cancel items from orders if those items are not in stock or found to be defective. Substitutions based on availability may be made for certain products.

Payment and Returns

Online purchases can only be made in U.S. funds using a valid credit card. Returns are subject to the policies detailed in the Returns section of our website. Refunds are only applied to the original payment method or as store credit.

Credit Card Declines

Orders placed with a declined credit card are automatically canceled. Canceled order items are returned to inventory, and promotions are not transferable. Notification of cancellation is provided via email. If no valid email is available, contact will be attempted by phone.

International Orders

Payment for international orders is accepted only by American Express, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover credit cards in U.S. funds. By placing an order to be delivered outside the United States, you agree that the recipient will pay any customs fees or taxes imposed by the destination country. Any order refused by a recipient upon delivery is considered an “abandoned package” and is ineligible for a refund. IAU is not responsible for undeliverable packages due to incorrect or invalid address information provided by the purchaser.

Shipment of Goods

Every effort is made to ensure timely and correct delivery of purchased products. IAU is not responsible for delivery delays or failures due to high order volume, weather conditions, carrier mishandling, or customer error.

Countries Excluded from Shipping

IAU does not process or ship orders to the following countries or regions due to applicable sanctions and restrictions: Afghanistan, Belarus, Burma, Central African Republic, Chinese Military Companies, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen, and others as listed under active sanctions programs by the United States. For the complete list of restricted destinations, please consult the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Unclaimed Pick-Up Orders

In-store pickup orders unclaimed after 7 days will be refunded to the original payment method and returned to stock. Discounts used will not apply to new orders if the applicable promotion has expired. Refunds are subject to IAU policies.

The content of this website, including all text, graphics, trade dress, logos, arrangement, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of International American University. Unauthorized use of these materials, including reproduction, copying, distribution, or preparation of derivative works, is prohibited. Notwithstanding the foregoing, users are granted a nonexclusive, non-transferable, limited license to view, reproduce, print, and share materials retrieved from the site provided that such materials are for personal, informational, and non-commercial purposes only and that copyright and other notices are preserved.

Visitors are welcome to submit suggestions, ideas, comments, questions, or other information, provided the content is not illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, or otherwise objectionable. IAU reserves the right, but not the obligation, to remove or edit this content. If you post content to the website, you grant IAU a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display the content in any media or technology.

Dispute Resolution

Our customer service team is available to address your concerns. You may contact us by email or phone. By using this website, you agree that all claims or disputes will be resolved through binding individual arbitration. Exceptions include small claims actions and suits to enjoin intellectual property misuse. Arbitration is conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) with AAA consumer rules.

Applicable Law and Venue

The laws of the United States and the state where IAU is located govern these Terms. Any action related to your use of the website or transactions with IAU must be brought in the state or federal courts in IAU’s location.

Site Policies, Modifications, and Severability

We reserve the right to make changes to our website, policies, and these Terms of Use at any time. If any term is deemed invalid, it shall not affect the enforceability of remaining terms.
